Bashar al-Assad is not a Shi'i
Not Shi'i nor Alawite/Nusayri
Note: I am neither with Bashar nor with the armed opposition.
Bashar is praying behind a Sheikh who is performing the prayer while folding his arms. Of course, he is not from the Shia, as the Shia consider folding the arms during prayer a bid'ah (innovation).

What is the ruling on someone who supports Abu Bakr and Umar according to Shia?
As for denying what is necessarily known from the Madhab of Imamiyya, it places its doer among the opposers/violators, and takes him out of religiosity to the religion of the pure Imams - May God's blessings be upon them all - such as the imamate of the Twelve Imams - peace be upon them - and their virtue and knowledge, and the obligation to obey them, and the virtue of visiting them
(...)
Among what is counted as necessities of the religion of Imamiyya are the permissibility of mut'ah and Hajj al-Tamattu', and the disavowal of Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Mu'awiya, Yazid ibn Mu'awiya, and everyone who fought the Prince of the Believers - May God's blessings be upon him - or any other of the Imams, and all the killers of al-Husayn - May God's blessings be upon him - and saying Hayya 'ala khayr al-'amal in the adhan.

In the clip, Bashar prays the truncated prayer, saying: May God bless him and grant him peace.
Ali (may God be pleased with him) said: Every supplication is withheld until until blessings are invoked upon Muhammad and his family

Curricula contrary to Shi'ism
According to Shia, the Apostle of God (peace be upon him and his family) was born on the 17th of Rabi’ al-Awwal and not on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal as the opposers/violators say.
They pray by mentioning his family like this: صلى الله عليه وآله or صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم
meaning
May blessings of Allah be upon him and his family or May blessings of God be upon him and his family and grant him peace.
The Assad family is originally from the Kakai sect?!
Iraqi historian Ezzedine Rasoul stated that he and Jalal Talabani (when they were in Syria) met Jamil al-Assad, the brother of Hafez al-Assad (Bashar’s father and former president) and asked him where they were from. He said we are basically Kakais from Khanaqin (a city in Diyala Governorate in Iraq).
Jalal Talabani is praised by the people like Qais Khazali.

Shi'ism is against injustice
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Mu’ammar ibn Khallad from abu al-Hassan (a.s.) who has said the following: “It was mentioned before the Imam that a certain man loves to have leadership. The Imam said, ‘Two fierce wolves in a flock of sheep, whose shepherd is far away, are not more harmful to the flock than seeking leadership to a Muslim’s religion is.’”

Let us not forget the involvement of the Syrian regime in supporting terrorism (Al-Qaeda) against the Iraqi people
Nouri al-Maliki accused the Syrian regime of supporting terrorism
Al-Maliki is an ally of Iran and Khamenei praised him
May God’s curse be upon Bashar
