🇸🇾 Bashar al-Assad is not a Shia Muslim

Bashar al-Assad is not a Shi'i

Not Shi'i nor Alawite/Nusayri

Note: I am neither with Bashar nor with the armed opposition.

Bashar is praying behind a Sheikh who is performing the prayer while folding his arms. Of course, he is not from the Shia, as the Shia consider folding the arms during prayer a bid'ah (innovation).

Bashar al-Assad folds his arms while praying, and next to him on the right is the Grand Mufti of Syria, who is Sunni.

It may be said: He did that out of taqiyya

Answer: There are conditions for taqiyya

Sheikh al-Ansari defined Taqiyya: The precaution to avoid harm from others by agreeing with them in a statement or action that is contrary to the truth/right

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Sadaqah who has said the following: I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s) saying, when he was asked about belief, and the rights of the believer, his brotherhood and how he is and by what means it is proved and is invalidated, ‘The belief is of two aspects. One is that which is manifested to you from your companion. If he manifests like what you believe in, his Wilayah (right of one guardianship) is established as well as his brotherhood unless he then manifests the opposite of what he had manifested before. He then will be out of the rights that were established. That which he manifests later suspends his rights unless he then claims it to be for purposes of protection ( Taqiyah ). Despite this, it is to be seen, if it is of the cases where use of protective measures ( Taqiyah ) is applicable or not, if not then his claim is not accepted. For use of protective measures there are specific instances. Whoever misuses them will not have the benefits thereby.

Sheikh Al-Ansari described the narration as verified. (Jurisprudential letters by Sheikh al-Ansari, p. 92)

From Imam al-Askari (peace be upon him) that Imam al-Rida (peace be upon him) estranged a group of Shiites. They said, ‘O descendent of the messenger of Allah! What this ill-treatment and humiliation after the long-awaited meeting is! Imam replied ‘You claim that you are Ali’s followers. your actions are against him, you have fallen short of your obligatory rituals, you have belittled your religious brethren’s rights in Allah, have concealed your beliefs when you should not, and have not concealed them when you should.’ 📚Ihtijaj (Argumentation) by al-Tabarsi P. 544-545 (English), briefly

Law 1582: The imam of the congregation must be an adult, sane, a Twelver Imami, and just.

Let us not forget that the Mufti of Syria, Sheikh Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun, is Sunni and is among the worshipers.

Bashar acknowledges those he called Rashidun (Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman, and Imam Ali, peace be upon them)

1:14 minute

What is the ruling on someone who supports Abu Bakr and Umar according to Shia?

As for denying what is necessarily known from the Madhab of Imamiyya, it places its doer among the opposers/violators, and takes him out of religiosity to the religion of the pure Imams - May God's blessings be upon them all - such as the imamate of the Twelve Imams - peace be upon them - and their virtue and knowledge, and the obligation to obey them, and the virtue of visiting them
(...)
Among what is counted as necessities of the religion of Imamiyya are the permissibility of mut'ah and Hajj al-Tamattu', and the disavowal of Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Mu'awiya, Yazid ibn Mu'awiya, and everyone who fought the Prince of the Believers - May God's blessings be upon him - or any other of the Imams, and all the killers of al-Husayn - May God's blessings be upon him - and saying Hayya 'ala khayr al-'amal in the adhan.

In the clip, Bashar prays the truncated prayer, saying: May God bless him and grant him peace.

Ali (may God be pleased with him) said: Every supplication is withheld until until blessings are invoked upon Muhammad and his family

Some Bashar's supporters are not Shia

Some of Bashar's supporters are Sunnis.

Prime Minister, Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalali, Hussein Arnous (from Idlib), Omar Ibrahim Ghalawanji, Riyad Farid Hijab are Sunnis

Sheikh al-Bouti is a Sunni who supports Bashar

Al-Bouti cites a hadith (from the sources of opposers/violators) of prohibiting rebellion against the Muslim ruler.

Curricula contrary to Shi'ism

The curricula of the Syrian regime are in contrast to Shi'ism.

Islamic book for the first grade

According to Shia, the Apostle of God (peace be upon him and his family) was born on the 17th of Rabi’ al-Awwal and not on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal as the opposers/violators say.
They pray by mentioning his family like this: صلى الله عليه وآله or صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم
meaning
May blessings of Allah be upon him and his family or May blessings of God be upon him and his family and grant him peace.

The Assad family is originally from the Kakai sect?!

Iraqi historian Ezzedine Rasoul stated that he and Jalal Talabani (when they were in Syria) met Jamil al-Assad, the brother of Hafez al-Assad (Bashar’s father and former president) and asked him where they were from. He said we are basically Kakais from Khanaqin (a city in Diyala Governorate in Iraq).

Jalal Talabani is praised by the people like Qais Khazali.

Shi'ism is against injustice

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Mu’ammar ibn Khallad from abu al-Hassan (a.s.) who has said the following: “It was mentioned before the Imam that a certain man loves to have leadership. The Imam said, ‘Two fierce wolves in a flock of sheep, whose shepherd is far away, are not more harmful to the flock than seeking leadership to a Muslim’s religion is.’”

Chain authentic narration

Let us not forget the involvement of the Syrian regime in supporting terrorism (Al-Qaeda) against the Iraqi people

Nouri al-Maliki accused the Syrian regime of supporting terrorism
Al-Maliki is an ally of Iran and Khamenei praised him
